Search over the form the link to the following page is wrong

    Hi,
    today a customer searched over the search form from Event Mangager. The results after search in the database were more events on a one page as customized in the configuration menu.

    On the bottom of the results are numbers with the link to the following pages.

    These links were wrong. https://…/?pno=2 or https://…/?pno=3 ….

    The links show to the page without search and not to more search results.
    After klick the search form is empty.

    In the moment I have made a “work around” to display all search results on one page. But it is not a fine solution to show 50 results on one page.

    Hi,
    If you go to Event-Manger: https://oldtimer-veranstaltung.de/kalender/

    Got to the Search Form:

    put –> “Hessen” in the field “Einheit” and than click the search button.

    The result in the moment ist about 50 entries.

    If you have more than 50 entries on the bottom of the page come 2 3 > for the following pages.

    If you click one link it is not the link for more search results. It is the wrong link.

    I hope it help to fix the software.

    Hiya,

    At the moment the results are distorted and probably because of your custom code modification.

    Can you remove that modification and tell us what the “Event List Limits” option is set to at Events > Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives please?

    I have nothing changed on Event Manger Code.

    Here are the configurations:

    Search Form: yes
    shedule to display: no
    Titel rewriting: no
    Archive: no
    Sort: Date
    Display future events
    Overwrite format: no
    Currant events as past: no
    WordPress Search: yes
    Standard sorting: Date
    Future events
    Count events: 50 (to have a work around for the links https://…/?pno=2 or https://…/?pno=3 …. if I had befor the entry 20 and links to the next page.

    What version number of Events Manager are you using?

    I′m using WP Plugin Event Manager Version 5.5.2. I don′t now a newer version.

    I’m not certain, but I’m fairly sure there’s a fix for a bug like this in the Dev version of the plugin. It would be worth updating to see if that fixes the problem.

    To update to the Dev version, go to Events > Settings > General > Admin Tools and click Check Dev Versions. After a short while, you should see an update for the plugin listed on the Plugins / Updates page.
