‘Search’ not working

  • I’m building my own website, for my own bakery, finally moving into the ‘make it pretty’ and finesse it a bit phase before going live next Friday…

    I’m getting better at it, little by little, but I cannot understand why when I enter a term such as ‘apple’ in the search function on the top right-hand of the screen, which should bring up our apple butter macaron, the user is redirected to my existing site to perform a search there.

    What am I missing?

    Have you transferred your website from one domain to another one?

    The domain name itself hasn’t changed. I’ve added some pages. Would you mind explaining a little more? Thanks for engaging. Michelle

    This may be due to some plugin conflict.

    Could you please try deactivating all the plugins and see if it fixes the issue .

    If it gets fixed, then you can try activating the plugins one by one and keep checking the issue after each plugin activation, this will help you identify which particular plugin is clashing.
