Search? not filtering

Hello! Tobias!
I have some dilemma. I have a table with 5 columns and 2000 rows. I want realize search by column “Surname”, not sorting results, but exactly search by surname. I want place button near filter-area, like button “Search”. After enter search options and pressing button – search results are displayed.
Now, when i start entering firts symbol – i get just filtering by all data.
oh yes, initially all results should be hidden.

Thanks for your answer. I read all posts, then install inverted filter and change php:
