Search multisite for site name

Hello,

I have looked through the forums, plugins and google and haven’t found the solution I am after for this.

I run a memorial website with each new site being named after the person it has been created for, I want the search function on the main site to only search for the names of the sites and bring up that site.

I do not want a search which will look through the content or posts, purely the site name.

To make things easier I have very little understanding of the workings behind a search function and would struggle to even find my SQL database. I am able to manage a bit of fiddling with the php.

Any help or advice appreciated.
