Search initiated, “loading” image keeps circling – no result + broken Google map

    Hi
    The page loads fine initially but then it gives an “oops something is wrong” and the map stops showing.
    on a search (I tried street address with zip code, and just zipcode) the little progress graphic runs but no result.
    I am on hostgator and saw that mentioned in a similar issue. Are you saying that’s an issue?
    Am being told not to offer a way to get into the site – hoping you can check this out some other way(?). If you can help troubleshoot I’d appreciate it.

    I have looked at your site and it appears that you may not have finished the configuration. Go to: WP Admin > Settings > CongressLookup > Get Google Map API Key and follow the instructions.

    Hi. Thanks for the quick response!
    I did get an API key and put it in. I showing you screenshot of what it looks like in the google control panel and in the admin here. (All identifiable info is blurred out.)
    Please let me know what I might be missing.

    Also, I am not sure – will this also address the issue of the search initiating but not ever coming back with a result?

    I have received your email with the image. Please try changing the Key Restrictions from “HTTP referrers (web sites)” to “None”. Let me know the results.

    Just in case someone else sees this I want to let them know what I did:

      1. I tried your suggestion last night and it didn’t seem to make a difference.
      2. I clicked specifically on the the “ENABLE API” button in the Google API dashboard and specifically made sure I clicked on “Google Maps Geocoding API” but put the restriction back so I was sure to change one thing at a time.
      3. I did not think to make the access unrestricted until you suggested it again.
      4. With both the API enabled and the setting set to unrestricted it is now working. ??
