• Hi…I have a www.remarpro.com blog running a https://sundrycollectibles.net/disneypostcards. It is cataloged by google just fine. But when I search for the blog on WordPress, I don’t get a result. I am running the Twenty Ten theme and in the Settings-Reading there is no button to say “This is a public blog” or something like that. I have over 100 posts on the blog and zero WordPress followers(!)…I find that impossible to believe based on the traffic I see via Google analytics etc. (About 400 unique visitors a month.) I do have 15 email subscribers, but I don’t understand why I have zero WordPress followers.

    Anyway…any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • WordPress.COM sites are part of a huge network – self-hosted sites are not part of that network.

I don’t think that is the case, actually. I have access and can log in to WordPress.COM and see stats for my blog etc. And it turns out my blog does show up in search on Wirdpress afterl, but I am thinking I am doing something in my settings that is making it impossible for people to follow it. Sorry if this is a bit unclear….I just find it amazing that similarly themed blogs that are a few weeks old have a bunch of followers and my blog has zero. It makes no sense.

Any WordPress.COM functionality like this would be via the JetPack plugin, so you should ask them here:

Thanks…yes, Jetpack has some similar stuff, but not the follow button. There is a plug in available, but it is rather old at this point.

    Anyway…thanks for the help!
