Search in specific category

WPES has feature to select taxonomies and matches the search query with the terms of selected taxonomies, if there is a match with terms, the related posts with those terms are displayed.

I hope you understand, what you are asking is a different feature. And WPES doesn’t have it at the moment but I will try to add this in future release if I get more reports.

Well, in my mind, selecting a specific category / categories to search in is a basic functionality.

Maybe you should take this into account for next updates, I’m sure a lot of people would find it useful.
