Search in an ajax theme issue

    Hi

    Thanks for the plugin. I am hoping to use it for the search facility on the site above. The theme itself is ajax based, the idea is for the audio player to be a ‘continuous audio player’ as you move between pages. It works great, as you can see, and audio plays as you move from page to page. However when I click on a search result and the page changes, the audio player stops. Quite a specific issue, but perhaps it also has a specific fix. I was hoping that you may understand the right way to set up the search plugin to have it work within the theme as hoped for above (also happy to get the pro version if that would solve the issue).

    Hi Daragh,

    Well, I think you might need to contact the theme author about this. The only way to do this is by custom coding – attaching the event handlers to the search result links to trigger the ajax request, instead of the redirection.
    That needs to be custom coded however, so it is properly integrated. The theme author probably knows how it all works, and the easiest way of integrating it.
