Hi, just as a suggestion I think it would be logical and very nice to be able to add the Search icon to the Offcanvas menu on the mobile header. I don’t understand why it doesn’t do it, when it does with Socials icon…

    That’s all, thanks ??

    Hello @oguido

Sure, I’ll note this down in our feature requests list, but if you’re part of our Premium membership, you can already add a search box to the off canvas menu ??

    Thanks,
    Eduard

@oguido , and I thought I was the only one who wanted to put search icon next to social icons in the off canvas menu – just as in desktop mode. It’s a shame that such a basic feature is available only in pro version ??

    Hello @muchacka

Thanks for your feedback. It has been noted and passed down to our development team.

But, you said you wanted to put the Search icon inside the off canvas menu. I can say that this will never work, because the Search icon opens another modal. It wouldn’t look that good to open a modal on top of another modal.

The Search box is available inside the off canvas menu, but it is part of the Premium package for now.

And as a side note, you can integrate the HTML element inside your off canvas menu, with a third party search widget. That isn’t restricted and should work great.

Hope this clears a bit of the confusion.

    Thanks

@cteduard thanks for such a quick response!

The explanation about a modal being opened on top of another modal makes sense. But then why would you discourage me from using that while it’s available in the premium package? I mean did you use a different mechanism there or is it a modal on top of modal as well?
