Search Icon in header not working

    Hello,
    the header search with a click on the icon unfortunately no longer works. All caches have already been deleted, CSS modifications due to template problems were also removed for testing purposes, unfortunately without success.

    I would be grateful for a solution.

    Hi @verwunderbar,
    What do you mean saying “no longer works”? I see it’s customized and the search field is opened, so you can enter a text and search it.

    Maybe there is a CSS conflict with the Enfold template. When I remove the modification, the search icon is placed on the right outside of the header, but a small search field is already visible without a click.

    Since the icon is clickable, I also thought that the search would be triggered. In your forum, however, only the search field opens after clicking and the search must be triggered with enter. I can live with my current solution, so thanks for the support.

    Ok, but I’m sorry I can’t help you. i don’t see any issue. The current view is nice.

    Thank you for your prompt reply. Because of my modifications, it’s okay now. Maybe you have the Enfold template for testing, then you should also have the error. The search icon is then placed on the right outside of the header. A tiny search field is visible and nothing happens when you click on the search icon. Thanks again for the support and the plugin.
