Search function on WordPress is Jacked Up

  • The search function on WordPress is all jacked up. I try to search Pages and I get Posts, I try to search Packages and I get Posts. Any ideas on why All Pages shows 4 pages but when I put the 4 into the box it goes to the 4th page of the 41 pages in POSTS. Something is very wrong and the post_type does not appear to be sticking in the search. Where can I fix that at?

  • Have you tried:
    -deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    -switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    LOL – I know – but that is such a pain in the kaboose! It is truly weird that you search on Page and you get Posts. Oh well – I will see which plugin is doing the dirty job.
