• Hi. This isn’t any sort of problem, as I’ve only just purchased Gmedia Pro and haven’t had time to explore it. I’m in the process of planning a photo gallery for my WordPress site using Gmedia Pro. What I’d like to provide my users is a photo search facility which will search tags added to photos in WordPress, and embedded photo metadata, in particular IPTC/XMP. A user search for ‘hamster’, say, should pick up not just pics tagged ‘hamster’ in WP, but also those with ‘hamster’ in photo metadata.

Can Gmedia Pro do this? I ask because metadata tagging is time-consuming, though necessary, so I’d like to spend it on embedding IPTC/XMP metadata in photos using software (eg IrfanView, Digikam) so that it can be extracted in platforms other than Gmedia. Adding tags, categories, and descriptions in Gmedia restricts the metadata to the single WP installation.

    Sorry, I’m a bit of a metadata nerd ??
