search function don’t appear

    Hallo,
    the magnifier of the search function in header appears only in the customizer, but not online. And in the customizer only if I change the search color. Before changing is only the area activated (the symbol not visible), but the searchbox is available.

    With Plugin ‘TB Search in Menu’ I can create a search in the header, who is also visible online. But I don’t like the layout and why a extra Plugin…

    Is this a conflict of font? What can I do?

    Sorry! I want to place a search function to the right of the header menu. In the customizer features is red my color for search icon (skin: red orange), but the search icon isn’t visible. If I change the search color to green, the search icon appears in green with the custimizer sidebar unfolded (the header menu isn’t visible). Now I can revers the color to red, than the icon remains visible. But if I hide the sidebar, the search icon disappears…the header menu appears again.
    How can I create a search function to the right of my header without additional Plugins?

    Where’s widget area you put search widget ?
    Header right of widget area is unprepared.

    Customizer can change search icon color.
    This is default search icon for mobile or tablet.
    This icon can change to disapeare from customizer option.

    This icon is disapeare for laptop.

    Ah, understand…
    Sorry, I didn’t know the widget settings. I’m a wp-newbie.

    But with additional widget for search function, in the header appears the searchbox. How can I set only the search icon (button) in my header?

    I mean a search toggle button as in the mobile view…
