    Hi Andy,

The reason your form/properties aren’t appearing is due to a conflict with the theme and the fact your theme already has a class called ‘clear’. See part 2 of this FAQ for more info:

    https://wp-property-hive.com/faq/why-doesnt-my-search-results-page-show-any-properties/

In terms of changing ‘Commercial’ to ‘Auction’, simply add this to your themes functions.php file:

Hope that helps! Any other questions do let me know. If you’re happy to provide FTP access please feel free to send through details and I’ll glad to login and make these amends on your behalf.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Thanks for the prompt and very helpful reply.
I’ve created a propertyhive folder in my child theme and copied the search-form.php file from /plugins/propertyhive/templates/global and removed the clear class from the template but unfortunately its having no effect.

Renaming Commercial to Auction works great but on the search form it changes the options to Min/Max floor area, I’d want it to stay as Min/Max price as with Sales/Lettings, is this possible?.

    Hi Andy,

Regarding the form and properties not appearing, can you confirm which page you have set as the ‘Search Results Page’ under ‘Property Hive > Settings’? And send me a link to it? It doesn’t appear to be the one that you linked to previously above.

As for the commercial/auction issue, commercial is for specifically storing buildings like offices, warehouses, restaurants etc. It sounds like you might be wanting to store residential sales properties, but have them appear in a different section on the site?! This is perfectly do-able, but difficult to explain through a ticket. If you’re happy to continue this conversation over email/skype/phone I’d be happy to do so and help you get this setup.

If you can email me ([email protected]) your preferred communication method I’ll be happy to get in touch.

    Many thanks,
    Steve

    Hi Andy,

I’m going to mark this thread as resolved as it looks like you’ve opted for a different solution. If you decide to use Property Hive in the future I’ll be happy to answer any questions you have, and even perform the integration for you if that would help.

    Good luck with the site!

    Steve
