I originally wanted to send this to the developers straight away, but their reCaptcha seems to be misconfigured which makes it impossible to send anything through their contact form…
Maybe someone around here can help me with my problem:

    Hi!

I recently installed WP Auto Listings on a client’s website. The default search form doesn’t have enough options, so I need something like the ones on your example page: https://demo.wpautolistings.com/
However, looking at the documentation, I don’t understand how to edit the base shortcode [auto_listings_search] to display all the other fields (as there are no direct examples on this page: https://wpautolistings.com/docs/search/).
Next, I wanted to try the search form builder that is included with the plugin, but for some reason none of the drag and drop options are showing up (see attachment).
I found a forum post that contained a screenshot showing what it’s supposed to look like: https://i.imgur.com/Og4DwPY.png

Is there something wrong with the plugin on my side or do I have to enable this drag and drop editor somehow?
Google Chrome’s developer tools console isn’t showing anything unusual on the search form builder page…

tl;dr: I’d love to know how to customize the search form either with shortcode examples or with the search form editor. Can you help me out?

    Kind regards

    Chris

I guess I sorta pieced it together. For anyone else wondering: This is how you add additional parameters to the base shortcode:
    [auto_listings_search style='4' layout='standard']

Are there any other criteria for sorting the results, other than “Newest”, “Oldest” and “Price”? I need to sort alphabetically by brand, make, etc.

    Hi,
At the moment, the shortcode [auto_listigns_search] doesn’t have any criteria for sorting the result. You might need to tweak the code to customize it.

    Thank you.
