Search for links on my site

Hi can anyone help me on how to get the search results for links on my webpage. Example say I have a link named “handbook 2013” and I went and typed “handbook 2013” into my search box on my website to bring it up in the search results. Can anyone tell me why this in not working? Remember I am searching for links on my pages.
