Search for Event Categories for Event Import

Well if you are importing lots of events from different categories here are some suggestions to handle it.

– While scheduling import from organizer you can give assign some tags and categories to all events of that organizer.
– So you can categorize event organizer as much as possible and while scheduling import you can assign them categories which you can filter later easily

If you want to assign different categories to different events thats not possible automatically as we import all events together and there is no way to specify which events goes in which categories.

I am asking for manually adding events, not using the schedule feature. And since my website has over 30 event categories, it is quite difficult to find the correct category using the small 4 line field available.

I am not a Pro user, should I submit a support ticket nevertheless?

As my website is using a lot of event categories, it is very difficult to select the right categories in the existing field (4 lines tall). Is it possible to add some code to change the field by adding a search functionality to select categories? (also, preserving the ability to select multiple categories)
