Search for description of variable product

  • Hi, I would like to know if possible to search variable product’s description.

    For instance, I have T-Shirt (Variables blue / red / yellow) and short pants (Variables blue / red / yellow) and I want to search “blue”, to find a blue t-shirts and blue short pants.

    It’s possible using this plugin?

    Hi,

    Yes, it is possible with both free and pro plugin versions.
    But free plugin version doesn’t allow to show product variations inside search results, only variable product.
    So if you search for ‘blue’ you will see parent variable product that has variation wit ‘blue’ term, not this variation itself.

    If you want to display product variations inside search results – then you need to use the pro plugin version.
