Search for all Tables

    We have used Tablepress for around 100 tables within a site, each table displays on separate page using Shortcode, I can see the ability to use a “search” for each table. But it would be great to have the same kind of search for ALL tables used on the site.

    Wordpress default search doesnt act in the same way or show results in the same way. Is there a widget or something we can add to search ALL tables ?

    Hi,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    No, sorry, something like this is not possible, as the search in tables only works in the client browser, using JavaScript. So, searching tables that are on different pages will not work with that.

    However, TablePress does integrate into the regular WordPress search, so content in tables that are embedded into posts/pages should be searched just like other text on that page/post.
