    Hello,

    I’m building a site using Elementor. I’ve added this plugin in to create a custom post type: Documents. With elementor, I can drop in a search widget on any page I’d like.

    My issue is:

    When I do a search, it displays ALL information from the site (pages and posts). I need to create a way to have two separate search functions.

    One displays all pages and posts.
    The other displays only results from the custom post type: Documents.

    Is there a way to do this?

    I have to believe there would be, but it’s not anything that CPTUI has settings for. Given your use of Elementor, they’d maybe have better leads than we do for how to separate out and create itemized functionality there. Otherwise, it’d end up being a custom solution situation.

    Hello,

    Thanks for following up. At the moment, no new news. Elementor provided some links for plugins that may accomplish this, but nothing through Elementor.
