search field too big for sidebar area

the google search field runs too long no matter where on the site i put it and the button runs off the edge. I have already tried the CSS corrections settings. Any way I can override with CSS to get the field and button to fit back into the sidebar area?

This plugin only inserts the Google code into your WordPress site, but unfortunately the display cannot be generally designed to fit every theme, because the themes affect the search box display in a unique way.
You our your site designer can modify the search box with css settings, sometimes it’s a little harder to find the setting you need, but it’s usually possible.
We don’t usually deal with custom css settings. Your site designer can handle such design requests.
Anyway, I don’t see the search box on the page at the moment.
