Search field no longer showing

    something I’ve done recently has taken this off the screen.
    I have added CSS code but only in the Plugin area, not the Table edit

    that is..

    .tablepress tbody td {
	font-family: Georgia;
	font-size: 16px;
	font-weight: normal;
	color: #0325FA;
}

    Please help

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    The cause for this simply is that the “Search/Filter” checkbox is turned off on the table’s “Edit” screen, from what I can see. Just re-enable it and the Search field should be showing again.
    In addition, please check what block on the editor page you inserted the Shortcode into. It seems to be in a “Code” block rather than a “Shortcode” block, which leads to e.g. wrong fonts being used.

    Thanks for that, I’ll know where to look in future for anything else.
    I don’t use blocks but just edit the old way. That is, anywhere on the page.

    good to hear that the Search box is back ??

    As for the other issue: Are you using the “Classic Editor” plugin then? If so, please switch from the “Visual” to the “Text” editor in the upper right corner of the editor field when editing the content of this page. Then, please remove all <pre> and <code> and similar HTML tags around the [table id=14 /] Shortcode.
