I have just updated the plugin to it’s latest version and it crashed my WP installation, giving HTTP 500 error, with the following error appearing in the php error log (60326 times).

I have tried installing it from the start (deleted, fresh install) but same thing.

[11-Feb-2014 09:32:00] PHP Warning: call_user_func(wp_se_migrate_7_0_2) [<a href='function.call-user-func'>function.call-user-func</a>]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback in /home/x24cchro/public_html/wp-content/plugins/search-everything/config.php on line 75

  • @mateja, , release 7.0.4 is working now. Thanks for immediate correction.

Mine’s still broken with the plug in installed (I’ve moved it to a different folder temporarily). Gives me a 500.

@michaelisc Did you install the latest version 7.0.4? Which version did you have previously?

Thank you for your quick reply. I had the version before 7.0.3. I upgraded directly to 7.0.4. I also updated Share This at the same time. That appears to be working just fine.

My particular issue is when I try to publish or upgrade a post. When I do so, what happens is that I get a message saying “Connection lost.” Sometimes that crashes access to the database and sometimes that clears and the update or publish is completed.

This problem disappears when I move the Search Everything plugin to an inactive folder by FTP.

Thanks for the details. It’s possible that ShareThis and Search Everything are interfering with one another. I’ll try to reproduce the error.

Unfortunately, I’m not able to reproduce the issue on our test blog.
Just to be sure: are you using this plugin? If we can’t reproduce the issue, it’s really difficult to fix it.

With debugging turned on I can see that ShareThis produces several error notices. Have you tried to disable ShareThis and leave Search Everything activated just to see whether you still get “Connection lost” error?

Also, there might be some useful suggestions in other support threads related to “connection lost”.
