Search Events and Show search options after last update

    Hi!

    After the last update, the “Search events” button and the “Show search options” link next it do not work.

    The “Search events” button redirects to the WordPress Dashboard and the “Show search options” link simple does nothing.

    The browser Console shows the following errors on the Simple History pages only:

    Anybody has similar issues?

    Also, any suggestions to fix are welcome.

    Thanks for the bug report. None of my sites show this behavior so my best guess is that something in your setup is currently incompatible with Simple History.

    Perhaps it is that another plugin also got updated around the same time as these problems started to appear. That other plugin perhaps also uses select2 but with another version.

    Another guess is that you have a cache or minimize/optimize js plugin installed that somehow interfers with the JS used by Simple History.

    Do you have a list of your installed plugins, perhaps I can quickly download them and spot anything that rings a bell..

    For the record – the culprit was the plugin GP Social Share. It seems not currently supported, although I like it a lot.
