So I started this new photo blog a few weeks ago. I installed Yoast, generated XML sitemaps, registered at both Bing Webmaster and Google Search Console. However, even after many weeks, though both have read the XML sitemap, they refuse to Index individual posts.

    1. On Google, if I manually submit the URL for Indexing, Indexing is successful
    2. On Bing, if I manually submit the URL for Indexing, Indexing is refused again

Coco’s First Year – Photo Stories from Ronit : This is a URL which was Indexed on google on manual submission, but rejected from Bing

Sultanpur National Park – Photo Stories from Ronit : This is a URL which was not Indexed on Google or Bing and I have not submitted for manual Indexing

Both posts are “green” for SEO as well as readability on Yoast.

I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I have another blog which is 25 years old with 300 posts which has each and every post indexed, also using Yoast.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @slyronit,

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. I have checked both posts, and there are no noindex tags or directives in the robots.txt file blocking indexing. Also, they are both included in the post-sitemap.

Google Rankings depend on?many factors. These factors include server load, page speed, cache configuration, mobile versions, responsiveness, and the site’s content, many falling outside the plugin’s scope. You can also learn more – Why doesn’t Google index my content properly?

I heard back from bing and they say my content violates their guidelines. I went through my content and matched it against their guidelines many times and cannot find any reason for this blacklist. If someone here can give me a hint, I would be grateful.

@slyronit I reviewed the content and didn’t see anything immediately apparent that would violate their guidelines. We’d recommend to respond back to Bing and ask for more details about what in your content specifically violates their guidelines.
