    This is probably a stupid question but will archived pages also no longer be visible to search engine robots? They will ‘think’ the page has been deleted?

    I depends on the which setting is specified in the reading settings

    “Can Archived Posts be read publicly:”

    “yes” means they can be indexed by search engines

    “No” means they can’t (as they are not available to non logged in users)

    Basically search engines can see anything a non logged in visitor can. What they put in their index is up to them though and depends on a range of factors
