• Search engine visibility option stucked as Discourage search engines from indexing this site. When I uncheck this and press save, it is back as checked when page reloads after saving.

I have tried turning off all plugins, using default wp-config file, 2020 theme. Still the option is checked and noindex tag is being generated if you view source.

I have temporarily added a duplicated meta tag in website <head> part start and before </head>. This is done to encourage search engines to index it. Not sure if this will work or not but I really need to uncheck that settings > reading > Search engine visibility option.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’m unsure of the cause, and you’ve already done many of the usual debugging efforts. Maybe do a workaround by directly altering the value saved in the DB? You need to access the phpMyAdmin app, usually through your hosting account. Locate your site’s options table. Search for the option_name “blog_public”. Click the edit link in the found row and change the “option_value” from 0 to 1, then click “Go”.
