Search engine help

  • Hello,

    Firstly well done on the great plugin.
    I wanted to know about what I should be doing on a live domain, which is under construction for the next 2 months.

    I have selected “Coming Soon & Landing Page”. Does that allow search engines to read the site and all pages and also index them? If so, should I be using this option whilst I am building the site?

    I hesitate to completely block the search engines, as I want them to see that something is coming.

    Hello, thank you for using our plugin!

    Yes, “Coming Soon & Landing Page” is the correct settings for site indexing, but to make it clear – search engines can index only what they can see – so if you put any “coming soon” landing page – they will index only that landing page – not your actual content your are building.
