Search doesn’t provide results from MyGallery photo albums

    I don’t know if this is a WordPress issue or a MyGallery plugin issue. I thought I would try you guys and gals first before I contact the plugin source.

    My site is https://www.greenfreak.net and I am using the Connections theme, with a Search box in the sidebar. And MyGallery plugin version 1.2 (latest stable release).

    When you search, it only brings up results from the blogs I’ve written, and nothing from the photo galleries.

    I’ve provided all the alt/title tags and descriptions for the photos, hoping that they would be searchable, but they don’t show up in results.

    If someone could advise if there’s something I could change in the search.php file, or if this is a problem with the MyGallery plugin, I would appreciate it.

    I posted to the plugin author’s page but haven’t received a reply yet.

    I was hoping for a fresh pair of eyes to see this, maybe have some suggestions?

    you might try upgrading the search function…

    Thanks jetshack, this provided a good workaround. It doesn’t search all my filenames or alt/title tags but at least I can add keywords for each page and it will pick it up.

    Because I have 100+ photos that have complicated latin orchid names, this isn’t such a great solution because it will be time consuming to add all those keywords, and it doesn’t return individual photo results – only the page it’s on.

    But it’s better it was before, so thanks. ??
