• Greetings,
Somehow I lost search functionality of Relevanssi. I use it with AIOWPS security. The php error log says that a file is missing. I read the support forum and then de-activated and re-activated the plugin. I rebuilt the index from Settings, but for some reason all posts and pages are excluded from the index. It is not clear to me why. Can you please help or suggest a way to make this work?
Thanks for your time and attention.
    Regards,
    Ben

What do you mean all posts and pages are excluded from the index? What does the “State of the index” say on the Relevanssi indexing settings page? Does the number of posts indexed seem correct or not? If you look at one of your posts with the Relevanssi debugger, is it indexed correctly?

What was the exact error message in the error log?

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.
I go to Settings -> Relevanssi, then to the Indexing tab.
I then select Index – post, page, and various wprm options (WordPress Recipe Maker).
“Excluded from search” is “no” for post and page, but “yes” for wprm_recipes.
I go to the Searching tab and look for a way to include wprm_recipes.
    I uncheck “Respect exclude_from_search”.
I go back to the Indexing tab, check and save the options and then press “Build the index”.
    I get the following results:
“Wiping out the index… Counting posts… 283 posts found.
    Indexed 0 posts (total 0), processed 283 / 283.
    Indexing complete. 283 posts excluded.”
Why? Am I making a mistake with the parameters?
Earlier, your plugin worked fine for me.
I had a problem with the hosting recently, and the hosting support said that in the php error message log there was a message “wp_relevanssi file missing” or something similar. Could this be the cause of this error?
How to restore or rename this file? It may have been renamed to have the prefix “hvf_” as set by AIO WPS.
How can I find and rename it? What else could explain this?
Thanks for your time and attention.
    Regards,
    Ben

Yes, if the wp_relevanssi database table is missing, that would lead to zero posts indexed. It may be possible to fix the database problem by deactivating Relevanssi and reactivating the plugin; if that doesn’t help, uninstalling and reinstalling should.
