Search does not show images

  • Hey there!

    i have the problem that the search is not displaying the product images.
    It shows the text and Price etc but not the images.
    The option catalogue and search is selected…

    This is an example:

    any help?

  • It looks like your theme is Avada v3.8.3 published on 18 April 2015. There have been lots of changes to WooCommerce and WordPress since then, and Avada is now at 4.0.3.

    A test would be to switch to the default theme. If that works, it would indicate that the problem does lie with your theme and updating is indicated. Backup before updating.

    Dear lorro,

    thanks for your answer… i′ve updated the Theme but the problem is still there….
    before it was working and all of a sudden it just stopped displaying the images….

    I should delete any cached pages and turn off WP Super Cache until this problem is fixed.

    Next I would try deactivating all other plugins to be able to rule out a plugin conflict.

    okay i’ll have a go at that… still wondering why as i haven’t any plugins or changed them as the problem started to occur….

    There are a few plugins showing in the page markup.

    If you can rule out cache and other plugins, it is likely you have a theme issue. In this case your theme vendor’s support service would be the next place to ask.
