Search displays posts

Hmm, i am not sure, when searching the list seems to be displayed as it should?

But when I search with a keyword it returns wp posts.

Could it be that the theme’s and the plugin’s search have a collision?

Hi, ohh i did not noticed the ads below categories, yes this seems like a problem caused by $_GET[‘query’] variable, i will take a look at it and post an update later today.

You can add following code to your theme functions.php it will rename field “query” to “adverts_query” and update the WP_Query params in [adverts_list] shortcode

add_filter( 'adverts_form_load', 'rename_query_field' );
 add_filter( 'adverts_list_query', 'update_list_query' );
 function rename_query_field( $form ) {

     if( $form['name'] != 'search' ) {
         return $form;
     }

     foreach( $form["field"] as $key => $field ) {
         if( $field["name"] == "query" ) {
             $field["name"] = "adverts_query";
             $form["field"][$key] = $field;
         }
     }

     return $form;
 }

 function update_list_query( $args ) {
     if( adverts_request( "adverts_query" ) ) {
         $args["s"] = adverts_request( "adverts_query" );
     }
     return $args;
 }

It still doesn’t work. :/

I am not sure then, one last thing you can try is to add following code in theme functions.php

add_filter('adverts_list_query', 'remove_wp_query_filters', 1);
function remove_wp_query_filters($query) {
  remove_all_filters("pre_get_posts");
  return $query;
}
