Hey again just a quick note…

I had my site verfied in Google search console using the tracking code option and this no longer works for me.

I tried using the header placement option in the plugin settings and it just wouldn’t verify. I am also using CdnEnabler.

No big deal! I simply used another verification method (HTML file upload) and was verified without issue.

Just a heads up for information purposes in case others are using tracking code for site verification.

    Cheers!

  • Thsi plugin was never suppose to verify domain in search console.
Good job you verified via HTML file.

Ya I wasn’t trying to say this plugin was supposed to verify. What I was trying to say is that the code this plugin directly replaces WAS able to verify and that by using this plugin verification by analytics is no longer possible so people are aware of this difference.

    Thank you
