Search Console showing validation errors on /amp (i know /?amp is what should be

  • Hi Mohammed… Excellent plugin, thanks for the good work.

    I installed AMP and then installed your plugin (how it’s supposed to be). Now, your plugin uses /?amp as the URL for the AMP version but Google is showing error in Search Console for /amp addresses.

    Does it maybe has to do with the AMP plugin?

    When i use validator, the /amp versions fail but the /?amp versions are ok.

    Hey @killersilver

    Thanks for using the plugin, The homepage and archives use ?amp but the single post uses /amp which is totally normal, it is just for google to let them know the address in the background.

    Well, that’s actually bad news because it means AMP isn’t workingon my site.

    One of the errors showed in search console includes:

    El atributo “src” de la etiqueta “amp-analytics extension .js script” se ha establecido con el valor “//cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-analytics-0.1.js”, que no es válido.

    El atributo “src” de la etiqueta “amp-ad extension .js script” se ha establecido con el valor “//cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-ad-0.1.js”, que no es válido.

    El atributo “src” de la etiqueta “amp-iframe extension .js script” se ha establecido con el valor “//cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-iframe-0.1.js”, que no es válido.

    No se permite la etiqueta “script”, excepto en algunos formularios específicos.
    El atributo “src” de la etiqueta “amp-form extension .js script” se ha establecido con el valor “//cdn.ampproject.org/v0/amp-form-0.1.js”, que no es válido.

    It is not because of that issue. It is actually because some plugin or the middle service (probably cloudflare) is messing up with the “http” part of the url because AMP doesn’t accept “//” at the moment. Please see: https://take.ms/subN1

    Can you list what plugins are you using?

    Yes, i’m using Cloudfare… Is there any way to get this plugin to work using Cloudfare?
