Search cache being cleared

  • I am caching the search results. But every time I make a new post, the search cache is cleared.
    I noticed that the search cache is registered as:
    meta-wp-cache-a237583666197c307d82bdca876d7b2b.php
    and
    wp-cache-a237583666197c307d82bdca876d7b2b.php

    How do I prevent these files from being deleted when I post?
    Remembering that the directive
    “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated.” is disabled.

  • Unfortunately I don’t think it’s possible to easily disable clearing those cache files. Won’t the search cache files become stale as soon as you post something new?

    At least the files that contain a search that would return the new post will be stale.
