    Hi Nicolas,

    I just upgraded to Hueman 3.3.8. Apparently the search button on the mobile menu is now no longer available (also doesn’t work on the Hueman demo site).

    Is there an easy option to get the search button back for mobile users?

    Or even better: Is there an easy and elegant solution to bring back the old menu alltogether? I don’t really like the menu scrolling at the top as I find it quite annoying.

    Thanks,

    Dave

    Hi again,

    I fixed the problem myself by adding the search-code to header-nav-mobile.php and tweaking a bit with the CSS:

    .mobile-title-logo-in-header .site-title {
            left: 65px!important;
    }

    As this works for me, I mark the topic as fixed.

    It is also an option they built in.

    Here to be found:
    Appearance > Customizer > Header Design > Header design: colors, mobile settings

    Scroll down and choose ‘Topbar and header menus, logo centered’ in the pulldown menu and the search button should return in the mobile view.

    Hi plimfec,

    Thanks for the hint. I didn’t expect that this option brings back the old-style menu. It more suggests that it shows both menus and centers the logo. It’s a bit misleading title I guess.

    Cheers,

    Dave
