    – To rule out any theme-specific issue, try switching to the unedited default TWENTY TWELVE theme for a moment using the WP dashboard. If you don’t have access to your admin area, you can switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using via FTP or SFTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme. That will force your site to use it.

That sounds simple enough, but I’m sure I could screw it up.
I tried switching, but the search button doesn’t show up on the preview.

I have WordPress v3.6 and Deep Focus v3.2.
I know this isn’t the latest Deep Focus theme but the last time I tried to update to a newer version the site crashed and was only recoverable with the server backup.
I went through all of the plug-ins and deactivated them one by one and then went back through them and reactivated them as well.

    My site is at: https://www.gatesantiques.com

You should ask Elegant Themes about the theme- as we don’t have access to (or support) commercial themes on these forums.
