also the “grid” and “list” button are missing

1. What browser are you using? It seems fine for me in Chrome
2. the Grid and List buttons you need to enable in [adverts_list] shortcode see https://wpadverts.com/documentation/creating-ads-list-adverts_list/

Yes I checked in Chrome & Explore it seems fine but would like to make the changes in Firefox. If you could point me in the right direction of which file needs to be t-wicked would be great. thxs

Hi, short hack from me for your problem:

.adverts-search .advert-input input[type="text"] {
height: auto!important;
}

put this code to your theme css or to an plugin like “simple css”.
