Search box not showing up!

    I logged into my film club’s website this morning to discover the search box was missing from the front page. The widget is still listed in the side bar in the dashboard and no amount of saving, replacing or refreshing will bring it back.

    I’m not a programmer so any replies would need to be the idiot’s version.

    Thanks but that didn’t work.

    However…I fixed it by using the “customise” button at the top of the page which I’ve never touched before. I found that the “Search” widget had been greyed out for some reason, so I deleted it and added it again and voila! ??

    I’m still not sure what changed or why as I’ve not touched anything on the back end of the site but it’s sorted for the moment! ??

    May be a temporary glitch, glad to know that the problem is gone now ??
