Search box is not returning results – no results found message

  • My website is a Genesis theme. Up until a few weeks ago the search box worked, but when I updated the Genesis theme and updated WordPress to 3.9.2 from 3.8 something the search box stopped working. I didn’t catch this until a few weeks later. I don’t know a lot about WordPress and so have no idea how to begin trouble shooting this.

    It works for me when I log into the dashboard and access my static front page that way, but no one else can use the search function when on my website.
