• Hey guys, I’m new to the community but I hope I’ll be able to help others!

    Right,

Loosing my s**t with this, I have no idea what else to do. All I want to do is for my users of my site to be able to use the ‘Search Bar’ (I have two of these, one at the top of navigation are and one on the top right of sidebar) and be able to search through all the posts.

    For example:

We recently interviews an artists called ‘Lucy Rose’

I’d like my users to go into the search bar and type in ‘Lucy Rose’

And then for the post to come up so they can click on it!

Ether I’m completely stupid or somethings going on, I’ve tried plugins (search everything, search posts lite etc) and I’ve had no success.

    site is https://www.tmsmag.com

Thanks guys, I hope someone can help!

  • I was able to find it using Google. Are you having this problem with just this post or all posts?

Have you tried disabling all plugins to rule out a plugin issue?

Have you tried switching to the default TwentyFifteen theme to rule out a theme-related issue?

When I search for that on your site, it says “Sorry, no posts were found”

Is that article an actual post? Or are you using a custom post type?

    Hey Kjodle, thanks for replying!

It’s happening to every post on my site. The only thing the search picks up is categories, nothing else is found. I literally just want users to be able to type in an artists name on the search bar on my website and then it to just appear as on any other site.

I’ve tried both those things you’ve said and still it doesn’t work, no idea what I should do!
