    Hi,

    – Search text field: when I enter a search term that is a job type or a word from the job descriptions I get no results? Only when I enter a word from the job title? Is this a desired behaviour?

    – Is it possible to have a filter based on type and not only on category?

    – is it possible to have a search bar without category drop down, only a search text field or text field plus type drop down?

    – is it possible to have search text field, search drop down and search button all on the same line on desktop?

    Hello Kashka,

    – Yes, it’s the default behavior of SJB plugin.

    – For 2nd & 3rd query, you can disable filters from the Dashboard> Job Board> Settings> Filters

    – For this, you need to do few customizations in your Job Board. Please use the SJB templating feature to modify search templates according to your requirements.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.

    What about my first issue in regards search results?

    If I enter a search term based on description, category, type, I do not get any results, it looks like is searches only through job title? It’s very limited, isn’t?

    As well, when I enter search term and I do get a result, above the search box I have “here” random word, how can I remove it?

    Hello Kashka,

    You can search jobs by keyword only based on the job title. For category and types, please use the drop downs to filter jobs.

    For “here” random word issue, it has been resolved since SJB 2.4.5 release. Please upgrade your SJB.
