Search Bar is space insensitive

    Hello,

    I have noticed that the searchbar is space sensitive. I have a product with an articlenumber “ES 12-60”. When I search for “ES 12-60” it works fine, but when I search for “ES12-60” the product doesn’t show up. Is the searchbar space sensitve? Because I would like to get the same result with both searches. Thanks in advance.

    When you search for “ES 12-60” FiboSearch is searching for “ES” and “12-60”. When you search for “ES12-60” FiboSearch is searching for “ES12-60” only and will not find results cause this phrase doesn’t exist. The space character is like an AND operator.

    However, please tell me if you have a general pattern that you use to number the products. Then we will be able to create RegEx for you, which will change the phrase before it goes to the search engine. Thanks to this, you will achieve the search results you need.
