I installed the event calendar plugin and test the app yesterday. Everything was fine until I went to my website this afternoon and found that the search bar and the button for changing the view of the events disappear. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem? ( I didn’t check the button in setting to hide the search bar.)

I can see them when I have login my website’s WordPress , but I cannot see them when I am using device that doesn’t login the website’s WordPress.

    Hi @gordoncmf ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I suspect there’s a conflict that’s causing the issue here. It would be good to test for conflicts. Could you follow the following steps?

    1. Deactivate all other plugins except for The Events Calendar Plugins.
    2. Switching to the Default theme.

Please read the Testing for Conflicts Article before doing anything.
To be safe, we’d recommend conducting tests and updates on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.

    Hi @tristan083,

    Thank you for your reply.

I have deactivate all other plugin except the events calendar plugin and switched my website theme to the Default theme. But the problem still occurs. Is there any other method to deal with the bug?

    Thanks again.

    Hi @gordoncmf ,

Thank you for your message and for taking the time to do the conflict test.

Unfortunately, I have not been able to reproduce the issue in my test environment running only The Events Calendar plugin and the twenty-twenty-one theme.

Is your site employing some server-side caching? Have you tried purging the cache while only The Events Calendar plugin and the standard WordPress theme (preferably twenty-twenty-one) the only ones enabled?

Some caching solutions have additional functionalities like assets (Javascript & CSS) minification. These functionalities get in conflict with The Events Calendar assets, as the plugin’s assets are already minified. I recommend looking into our Caching with The Events Calendar guide as well.
