    Hi Etoile team,

    Everything works great, I was just wondering if it’s possible for the little search bar from the catalogue, to search for every word in the descriptions and to not to be case sensitive because in spanish we have different punctuactions and that might confuse people.

  • Hi mikey,

    There’s no way around the the proteina search. i and í are treated as separate letters in the search, so you have to search for the accent if you want to get results with the accent. The case insensitive search will work if you set “Case Insensitive Search” to “Yes”.

    I tried the troubleshooting methods and still doesn’t work. This only happens when I try to look for a word with tilde.

    If you look for proteina, it won’t work but if you look for proteína, it works.

    Are you sure it works with tildes?

    Hi Mikey,

    Since you have proteína (with the tilde/accent) in your product title and product description, it will only work if you search the keyword proteína with the tilde. If you search without tilde (proteina) the query would not return any result. I have attached a snapshot below of the sample query that works fine:
