Search / Auto-popluate values for search fields

  • Is there a way to auto-populate the search fields based on available existing posts’ values?

    eg. I have an initial list of values (1, 2, 3, 4) for MetaFieldA — I add a new post and enter “5” as the value for that field. Is there a way to “refresh” the dropdown / checkbox list in the form with the new value as opposed to going in and manually adding the new entry?

    You can use taxonomy instead.
    Meta fields db table are different with taxonomy.

    Not that it can’t, but required customization.
