Search Articles instead of Posts

I am using a knowledgebase theme (Flatbase) that uses a custom post type “Articles” to organize content. All of my site content will be in these articles. Therefore, when using the search function of the menu, it returns no results since they are not standard posts. Is it possible to make the search look for terms in the Article post type instead of regular posts?
