    Hi there…

I have taken over a job board website that uses a custom field for the job category called
    job_listing_category
This lists all the job categories, e.g Secretarial, Management, Driving Jobs etc…

This taxonomy has been implemented using WP Job Manager Field Editor plugin.

When I look in Search Appearance – Yoast SEO / Taxonomies, there is no dropdown for it (obviously as it is a custom Taxonomy).

I did fiddle with this code from this page and it does register in search appearance and in the sitemaps.
    https://yoast.com/wordpress-custom-taxonomies/

Can this code be adapted to show my existing taxonomy instead?
Or is there another way to register the taxonomy in Yoast?

    Many thanks…

@wordpressforumhelp Unfortunately we can’t offer support on custom code. Since we don’t want to take the risk that we break your website by suggesting incorrect or incomplete code, we cannot advise you on how to make such changes. Maybe someone watching these forums can assist you further, but if your topic is inactive for 7 days, we’ll mark it as resolved to keep the overview.

    Thank you for your understanding.
