Is there a method to search for a string and replace it with nothing, I mean with an an empty string?

    I use Global Text Replace:

If I enter nothing in the “Replace” field, then the “Replace All” button is disabled. Only if I enter at least one character (e.g. a space), then the “Replace All” button is clickable, but I don’t want to replace a string with a space. I would delete del string (=replace it with nothing) Is that possible? If yes, then how?

    Many thanks in advance.

Yes, change the replace dropdown to ‘remove’

Oops, I had overlooked the dropdown behind the replace field. Thank you. That answers my question.

I get an error message with the switch from Single to Remove “Something went wrong ??
Search Regex is not working. Try clearing your browser cache and reloading this page. If you are using a page caching plugin or service (CloudFlare, OVH, etc) then you can also try clearing that cache.”.

I will report the error as a bug with the appropriate form. In any case, the question is answered. Thank you.

    This should now be fixed.
