Search and german umlaute

    Has anyone an idea how I can make the searchfunction of wordpress changing specialcharakters in html-entites, so it can find german umlaute in posts?
    I use a wysiwyg-Editor to write the posts and it converts everything into html-entities before saving… so ?? gets “uuml;” and so on…

    The Plugins o42 and german-permalinks cant help, because they only change feeds and permalinks…
